Close the Space

Because some forms of bullying are quiet.

Every day you get to choose. Choose to close the space.

Bullying Isn't Always Loud.

Bullying is not always pushing or shouting.

Sometimes it is silence.

Sometimes it is whispering.

Sometimes it is leaving someone out on purpose.

You can be sitting right next to someone

and they can feel a million miles away.

Social exclusion is a form of bullying.

Recognize the Space

Learn to see the subtle ways people are pushed out. Silence. Turned backs. Whispered conversations. Awareness is the first step.

Honor Courage

We recognize the Heroes, young people who choose inclusion over comfort. Who see the space and decide to close it.

Close the Space

Sit next to someone sitting alone. Invite someone into the conversation. Move over. Small acts can change everything.

Expand Belonging

We fund the Close the Space Scholarship so youth who feel isolated can access camps and leadership programs that rebuild confidence, connection, and belonging.

Recognize the Space

Bullying is not always a shove or a shout.

It can be relational bullying, damaging someone’s friendships or reputation on purpose.
It can be social bullying, using the group to isolate, whisper, or turn people away.
It can be exclusion based bullying, leaving someone out of conversations, events, group chats, and everyday moments consistently and on purpose.

Sometimes it looks like a circle that never opens.
A lunch table with one seat always empty.
A group chat everyone is in except one person.
A conversation that gets quieter when someone walks up.

You can be sitting right next to someone,
and they can still feel a million miles away.

That is the space.

Learning to recognize it is the first step to closing it.

Close the Space

Every day, you have three choices.

When someone says something unkind, try to understand where it came from.

Then choose forgiveness.

When someone is sitting alone, sit down.

You do not need a reason.

When someone is being left out, choose to include them.

Every time.

Kindness costs nothing.

Compassion is a choice.

Forgiveness is strength.

Honor Courage

Some kids choose kindness when it costs them something.

They sit down next to someone alone.

They stay friends when it is not popular.

They forgive when everyone else is still angry.

They include when the crowd is excluding.

They do not do it for recognition.

They do it because they decided to.

Every day they get to choose.

They choose to close the space.

We call them Heroes.

We want the world to know their names.

Expand Belonging

Some kids sit in crowded rooms and feel completely alone.
Right next to people.
A million miles away.

The Close the Space Scholarship sends youth to camps
and leadership programs where everything can change.
Where nobody knows their past.
Where they get to decide who they are.
Where they find confidence, connection, and belonging.
Where they discover they were never meant to be alone.

A new place.
A fresh start.
Real belonging.

Kindness costs nothing.

Compassion is a choice.

Forgiveness is strength.

Every day, you get to choose.

Choose to close the space.

Every scholarship starts with a donation.

Every donation closes the space for a child who needs it.
